Mrs. Sara Monini Summer Parsley Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Italian Parsley

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • ¼ cup GRANFRUTTATO Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • salt to taste

  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes

  • 1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes


Instructions

Step 1
Wash the parsley and dry it. Peel the garlic. Mince the garlic and parsley together also using a blender if you want.

Step 2
Place the minced garlic and parsley in the serving bowl and add the GranFruttato Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Step 3
In a skillet pan place, the tomatoes (crushed) add salt and the chili pepper flakes. Let cook over medium heat until the sauce starts to boil. Remove from heat and add pour the sauce in the serving bowl together with the Oil, garlic, and parsley. Set aside.

Step 4
Bring salted water to boil and cook Fusilli al dente, following the instructions on the package. Drain the pasta and pour into a serving bowl with the parsley sauce; stir, add some more parsley leaves for garnish, and serve.
