Olive Oil Fava

Ingredients

  • 500g fava (Yellow Split Peas)

  • 1 ltr hot water

  • 1 whole red onion

  • Salt

  • Pepper  

  • Atsas organic extra virgin olive oil (2 tbsp per portion)

  • Finely chopped red onion for garnish  


Instructions

Step 1
Boil fava together with the whole onion until cooked. Let them cool and place them in the blender.

Step 2
Add salt and pepper and blend until you get a creamy consistency.

Serve with 2 tablespoons of atsas organic extra virgin olive oil and garnish with some finely chopped red onion.
